How Do I Upload a Route to Ridewithgps

You've recorded a ride with your GPS device or you take downloaded a Route file, at present upload it to the Ride with GPS website in 1 of several ways:

  1. Upload from a Garmin device
  2. Sync with Garmin Connect
  3. Via E-mail
  4. Forgot to tape your ride?

Upload to the website

  1. ClickUpload in the left manus dashboard navigation.
  2. Click the Select Files button to bring up the file explorer.
  3. Select the files y'all wish to upload: GPX, TCX, KML, KMZ, or FIT files are all accepted.You tin can select multiple files at one time by holding Control (Windows) or Command (Os Ten) and clicking on multiple files. Hitting OK to brainstorm the upload.
  4. If yous forgot to tape your ride, y'all can still add it manually past clicking Add.

Manual Upload from the Garmin Edge series

The Garmin Edge serial of devices tin upload rides using the Automatic Sync feature or manually using the steps below:

  1. Click on UPLOAD at the top of the website.
  2. Click on the SELECT FILES button
  3. And so browse to the following path on the Garmin drive or book:
    GARMIN (volume or drive letter) > GARMIN > ACTIVITIES

The file name reflects the date and time when the activity was recorded and saved to the device.

Transmission Upload from the eTrex, Oregon, Montana, and GPS6x series

The Garmin eTrex, Oregon, Montana, and GPS6x series of devices practice non work with the Automatic Sync feature. You must upload your rides using the following steps:

  1. Plug in your Garmin device using the appropriate USB cable.
  2. A new drive name or bulldoze letter will announced indicating the device is connected to your reckoner.
  3. On the UPLOAD page, Click on SELECT FILES, then browse to the following path:
    GARMIN > GARMIN > GPX

    2. Select the Add RideManually Log Your Ride on the bottom-left side of the screen.
